No healthy compressed Pigeon yet.
The bird's species follows how many times smaller Pigeon is than at full precision (dove from 1.8×, swift from 3.5×, swallow from 7×, hummingbird from 14×). Its health follows Pigeon's own line: healthy at ≥ 90% accuracy and ≥ 75% pointing, a skeleton at ≤ 60% accuracy or ≤ 35% pointing, starving in between.
Recipe
Stack steps top to bottom, the way a real compression pipeline runs. Every change scores Pigeon again on its test photos.
The presets and steps appear once Pigeon has loaded.
Everything you've tried
Your runs are plotted here once the original Pigeon has been scored.
Show every run as a table
No runs yet: the first one is the original Pigeon, scored as the page loads.
Each mark is one full 500-photo scoring run, kept in this browser, and marked by the bird's condition: a filled dot is healthy (≥ 90% accuracy and ≥ 75% pointing), a hollow dot is starving, a cross is a skeleton (≤ 60% accuracy or ≤ 35% pointing). The magenta line joins the best tradeoffs: nothing else you tried is both smaller and more accurate.
This browser won't let the page save anything, so these runs will be gone when you leave or reload.
Specimen drawer
Test photos appear here with Pigeon's verdicts once the engine has scored them.
Magenta shows what drives Pigeon's answer, and the ring marks its hottest point. Teal boxes are where the birds really are. A solid red border marks a wrong answer. A dashed border marks an answer this setting changed from the original Pigeon's: red if the change made it wrong, teal if it made it right.
